How about them Cowboy's !!!

What a GREAT game. Cowboys played the Philadelphia Eagles. They overcame Donovan McNabb throwing for 281 yards and Brian Westbrook's 103 yards from scrimmage and the second 100-yard receiving game of DeSean Jackson's two-game NFL career. By the time everyone finally had caught their breath after 3 hours, 16 minutes of up and down the field, up and down the field, this last but greatest Monday Night Football game to be played at Texas Stadium finally expired at Cowboys 41, Eagles 37. After the game was all over Romo was speaking with a reporter about the mistakes that they had made and this is what he said..."One of the things you have to do is come back as a team and persevere," Romo said. "You are not always going to play good, you are not always going to make the right choices." He really is a great player and I think down to earth. He is not all about himself and saying that he is the one that won the game for them but his entire team. Way to go Tony Romo, you are the best. Go Cowboys and keep it up you play Green Bay next, so lets dominate them as well.

Sept. 11, 2001

September 11, 2001 was a very hard day for my family. At this time my family and I lived in New Jersey and my dad worked in New York City in the World Financial Building right next to the Twin Towers. On this day we woke up as if it was going to be a day like any other. We were very wrong. I remember going to school and going through my morning like nothing was going to happen. When I arrived at my choir class this is when my life came to a screeching stop. I was chatting with my friends when my other friend came up and said "hey did you hear, a plane flew into one of the twin towers". I thought nothing of it and just thought that she was just joking. Well she wasn't, soon after that I got a call from the office to come down. I walked in and the Secretary said this to me. " We don't know where your dad is but he is OK". What?? I was so confused and just walked back to my class. Luckily my Spanish teacher was in my choir class because since it is a big class they need a another teacher to make sure everything is OK in there. Well she was in the office when the secretary told me that so when she came back to class she took me aside and told me what was going on. At this point I was so scared because I remember my dad telling us that he was having a meeting in the one of the Towers that day. I was lucky to have my Spanish class next so she let us watch on TV what was going on. The rest of the day was torcher though, not knowing what really was going on and what was going on with my dad. The day final was over and my friend was taking me home. When we pulled up to the house I saw that there was a couple cars there plus our Bishop's car, so of course I thought the worst. I ran inside and saw my mom crying on the phone. She hurried and hung up and came over and grabbed me. As we were both crying she finally told me that he was fine and at the last minute they changed there meeting to somewhere in Brooklyn because they had more people expected at the meeting. I was relieved but I still didn't know when we would be able to see him, because they were not letting anyone in or out of the city. We then sat there the rest of the day just watching the news and watching the planes hit over and over again. When all of a sudden I thought I heard the garage door open. My mom told me I was hearing things and to just relax. I didn't believe her so I ran out to garage and sure enough it was my dad. I ran to him I we stood there for a good 5 min. just crying and him trying to tell me that he is fine and everything was going to be OK now.

I just want to let my dad know that I do love him very much and I am so thankful to those above watching over him that day so that he would be able to come home to us.

At this time I also want to thank all of the men and women over there fighting again for us. I pray that they do come home safely to there family's just like my dad was able to come home to us.
