Well the past few weeks have been very very crazy. However I was able to go with my family to California for 10 days, and we had a good time. It was a lot warmer then it was here so coming back to the snow was terrible. Here are some pictures though of our vacation.

We visited the San Diego Temple

Kenna's Birthday!!

So on Thursday the 6th we celebrated Mckenna's 14th Birthday. Wow she is getting old and it makes me feel older. We had a great time with her learning that she gets a phone, YEAH!!!! Then Chuck and I took her to Applebee's for dessert and also to watch the Utes game. She didn't want to go at first cause she thought it would be boring, but Chuck made it great for her. He had her rolling around laughing. She told me that that was her favorite part of her whole birthday. I am glad that it was enjoyable for her and we wish you the best in this next year to come. We love you!!!

So excited she gets a phone!!

Brighton Bengals

So our Brighton Bengals had a great season. We made it all the way to the State Championship!! Go Bengals!! The only problem is they went and played there heart out, but Alta was just a little better. We lost 7-16:(. The boys played very well and the Coaches taught them what they could. We are all so proud of them for a very great season. Chuck's brother Hunter is a great quarterback. He was able to get over 100 points by himself. He is a great kid and a great player. We love him very much and want to say I am sorry about the loss it is very hard when you are that close, but just keep learning new things every year and then next year we can do it again and Win it all. Great Season Bengals!!!

Go Bengals!!!!

I want everyone know that Brighton Bengal Peewees are going to the State Championship. Today they played Riverton to see who was going to the FINAL Game. It was an amazing game!! My husband Chuck is an Assistant Coach, next to his dad Gary. Chuck's little brother who is 11, and the quarter back, played his heart out. They did a great job and won them 21-14!!! So now it is up to them one more time to beat Alta. I hope they do win, but if not they had an awesome season!!!!

Well it has definitely been awhile since I have done anything on here, so here we go. Well I lost my job and so right now I am currently looking and also watching my mother-in-laws baby, Olivia, which she is Chuck's step-sister. I guess she would be my sister-in-law, but she is 3 and very precious. She has FG Syndrome, so she needs that extra attention, but it is well worth it. She is getting stronger everyday and then the day that she is able to walk we won't be able to control her. She is going to take off, but it is going to be worth it to see her get to that point. Anyway she is very precious to all of those around her. So I thought I would post a couple pictures that I have taken of her during the time that I have watched her.

How about them Cowboy's !!!

What a GREAT game. Cowboys played the Philadelphia Eagles. They overcame Donovan McNabb throwing for 281 yards and Brian Westbrook's 103 yards from scrimmage and the second 100-yard receiving game of DeSean Jackson's two-game NFL career. By the time everyone finally had caught their breath after 3 hours, 16 minutes of up and down the field, up and down the field, this last but greatest Monday Night Football game to be played at Texas Stadium finally expired at Cowboys 41, Eagles 37. After the game was all over Romo was speaking with a reporter about the mistakes that they had made and this is what he said..."One of the things you have to do is come back as a team and persevere," Romo said. "You are not always going to play good, you are not always going to make the right choices." He really is a great player and I think down to earth. He is not all about himself and saying that he is the one that won the game for them but his entire team. Way to go Tony Romo, you are the best. Go Cowboys and keep it up you play Green Bay next, so lets dominate them as well.

Sept. 11, 2001

September 11, 2001 was a very hard day for my family. At this time my family and I lived in New Jersey and my dad worked in New York City in the World Financial Building right next to the Twin Towers. On this day we woke up as if it was going to be a day like any other. We were very wrong. I remember going to school and going through my morning like nothing was going to happen. When I arrived at my choir class this is when my life came to a screeching stop. I was chatting with my friends when my other friend came up and said "hey did you hear, a plane flew into one of the twin towers". I thought nothing of it and just thought that she was just joking. Well she wasn't, soon after that I got a call from the office to come down. I walked in and the Secretary said this to me. " We don't know where your dad is but he is OK". What?? I was so confused and just walked back to my class. Luckily my Spanish teacher was in my choir class because since it is a big class they need a another teacher to make sure everything is OK in there. Well she was in the office when the secretary told me that so when she came back to class she took me aside and told me what was going on. At this point I was so scared because I remember my dad telling us that he was having a meeting in the one of the Towers that day. I was lucky to have my Spanish class next so she let us watch on TV what was going on. The rest of the day was torcher though, not knowing what really was going on and what was going on with my dad. The day final was over and my friend was taking me home. When we pulled up to the house I saw that there was a couple cars there plus our Bishop's car, so of course I thought the worst. I ran inside and saw my mom crying on the phone. She hurried and hung up and came over and grabbed me. As we were both crying she finally told me that he was fine and at the last minute they changed there meeting to somewhere in Brooklyn because they had more people expected at the meeting. I was relieved but I still didn't know when we would be able to see him, because they were not letting anyone in or out of the city. We then sat there the rest of the day just watching the news and watching the planes hit over and over again. When all of a sudden I thought I heard the garage door open. My mom told me I was hearing things and to just relax. I didn't believe her so I ran out to garage and sure enough it was my dad. I ran to him I we stood there for a good 5 min. just crying and him trying to tell me that he is fine and everything was going to be OK now.

I just want to let my dad know that I do love him very much and I am so thankful to those above watching over him that day so that he would be able to come home to us.

At this time I also want to thank all of the men and women over there fighting again for us. I pray that they do come home safely to there family's just like my dad was able to come home to us.

Here are some pictures of my cute dog, Athena. She is a pure breed Blue Heeler, and is 1 1/2 years old. She is very spoiled by us and her grandma (my mom Annette). She is basically our child so she keeps us always going, but we love her.

Here she is dancing for a treat!!
Here she is chilling with me.

What a cute little face.

Memories!!!

Memory Lane... I got this from my friends blog. It is pretty fun cause you can see what kind of memories your family and friends have about you. Here are the directions...

  1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
  2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

We recently went to the Zoo and had so much fun!!! We took Chuck's Mom, Cindy, and his little sister, Olivia. Oliva has never been to the Zoo, so it was fun to see her looking at all the animals. Here are some of our pictures of us having fun and of the animals that we saw. Hope you enjoy them just like we did!!!
